8 mm Film Holder for Epson Perfection V750/V700 - parallel scanning capable

Custom manufactured film holder for Super 8 mm and Regular 8 mm movie film (Patent Pending). This model is designed for use with Epson Perfection v750 and v700 flatbed film scanners only. Scanning uncut 8 mm movie film on an Epson v700 or v750 has always been a hassle, if not downright impossible. The issue is that the "normal" scanning orientation is perpendicular to the scanning sensor on these models. But doing so means you must pass your film through the top part of the scanner. When a film strip is passed through the top half of the scanner, it invariably obstructs the calibration sensor. This causes lines and weird colors in your scans. The answer is to scan parallel to the sensor. This enables you to avoid the calibration area at the top and allows you to scan uncut movie film in an easy manner. This holder features a scan window of 168 mm in length. The window features two 38 mm "borderless" scan windows.
