This added functionality provides you with more options for how you use your Surface Pro -whether it be for entertainment or work purposes. Installation: 1. Locate the Microsoft Surface Pro, Microsoft Surface Dock, A male to A male USB 3.0 cable, Surface Pro charging cable, power adapter and the AC power cable. 2. Plug the A male to A male USB 3.0 cable into the far left Surface Dock's USB 3.0 port and the Surface Pro's full size USB 3.0 port. 3. Plug the Surface Pro charging cable into the Surface Dock's power output port and the Surface Pro's connect port. 4. Connect the AC power cable with the power adapter and plug the power adapter into the Surface Dock's power input port. Then plug the AC power cable into a power supply and an LED light on the Surface Pro charging cable should turn on. 5. Connect whatever USB capable devices you want to use via the other USB 3.0 ports on the Surface Dock.
