Network Performance and Connectivity The Phoenix 2 operates on GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz), UMTS (850/1900/2100MHz), and LTE (2/4/5/12/29) bands. That's similar to what you'll find on the J3 and Zmax 2, but both of those phones lack band 29, which is used for supplemental downlink bandwidth for HSPA+.
